Everything’s Rosie At Voice and Music
The first pictures from VGI’s new series Everything’s Rosie for BBC CBeebies have arrived at the Voice and Music and we’re happy to say they look stunning. Having completed the voice records here we were delighted to find that VGI have chosen us to do the sound design and final mixes for the upcoming series. Chris, our head engineer, has been in charge of the project for us and the job now falls to him to come up with the goods. To that end he’s been working closely with Foley artist Ruth Paveley to add extra layers of texture and complexity to the mixes.
“Its important to get things right when you’re doing something of this nature. The quality of the CGI on this is really good, so the sound has to be spot on. Libraries are all well and good, and they’re great for most things but with this we felt it was important to add that extra something you get from actually physically making the sounds. Its especially pertinent when you realise it has to go out in 5.1.”-Chris Morris, Senior Sound Engineer.
Everything’s Rosie promotes the idea of fun and fulfilment through friendship and celebrates discovery, curiosity and imagination. At the heart of the series is Rosie - a positive thinking, enthusiastic and bright role model for preschoolers. With the help of her lively and diverse group of friends, she finds surprising and refreshingly unpredictable solutions to everyday challenges.2 years ago
